NEW MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR AMPHITHEATER SET TO UNVEIL IN DOWNTOWN AUSTIN
Another downtown park is getting a facelift. Thanks to a $15 million grant from the Moody Foundation, Waterloo Park will soon be home to an amphitheater, which will host concerts, community events, and the performing arts. Construction is slated to begin this year and wrap up in 2019 on the new The Moody Amphitheater, which will be a "unique steel and translucent stage-house structure" with a great lawn large enough for 5,000 people. The revamped 11-acre park will also feature gardens, play areas, and 1.5 miles of trails. LEARN MORE >>
