Spring Condominium arrived in Downtown Austin in early 2010 to much fanfare. Spring’s location, at 300 Bowie St., is awesome. 42 stories, some exceptional views and it’s equidistant from Lady Bird Lake and Whole Foods Market. Not to mention…. Spring Condominium is Austin’s first point tower – a pretty impressive engineering feat that minimizes a building’s footprint by building the tower around a core shaft.

The first thing generally noticed when entering a Spring Condo is the views. Half of the units have floor to ceiling windows and all the condos tend to offer up something interesting – the Texas Hill Country, the Texas Capitol, Lady Bird Lake and general urban Downtown Austin settings. Being a point tower, the building is somewhat compact. The Spring floor plans are incredibly efficient and have lots of window space. Standard finish outs for Spring condos include wood in the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. The different color schemes all offered granite counters.

Spring Condo owners, in addition to living in a fabulous Downtown Austin location, get to enjoy numerous amenities. The lobby is small but has a front desk attendant available 24/7. The amenities deck includes an outdoor pool and both a gym and reservable common meeting / entertaining area that overlooks it. Additionally there are two guest suites residents can reserve for friends and family.

Spring Condominium is located in Downtown Austin’s Market District which is anchored by Whole Foods Market’s flagship store. Many people who focus on downtown, urban real estate across the world will tell you – people want to live near Whole Foods. Doing so somehow embodies the benefits of urban living for people. Spring is also very close to Lady Bird Lake Trail, another Downtown Austin sought-after destination. And then there are all the restaurants, bars, stores and retail that make up Downtown Austin.
